Arrows Best Foresters in Pitching Duel
The Milwaukee Arrows racked up a win at Lakefront Park, bumping off the Cleveland Foresters, 2-1. Mel Maddox, who started for Milwaukee, pitched effectively for his team. Ben Ginsberg closed out the game, earning his 2nd save. The Foresters, 9-12, continue their poor start to the 1975 campaign.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Arrows had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fourth, when catcher Moose Patrick hit a 2-run single. The single came off Juan Solorzano and made the score 2-0, Arrows. Patrick was 1 for 3. He drove in 2 runs.

"It wasn't a very good day at the ballpark," said Cleveland manager Ray Parsons.
