Burke Hits 3 Dingers, Suns Win, 10-7
The timely hitting of Bill Burke helped the Los Angeles Suns down the Minneapolis Millers, 10-7. Burke belted 3 home runs. He drove in 9 runs and scored three times for the Suns. Whitey Stewart recorded his 5th save for Los Angeles. To call the performance of the 1963 Millers subpar is an understatement.

The game turned with two out in the top of the fifth when Burke hit a 2-run single. It thrust the Suns into the lead, 5-3.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Suns manager Bill Morrill. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
