Roy McGee, who is tied for 5th in the FA in stolen bases with 5, had a direct impact on the outcome. McGee contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put Pittsburgh up, 3-1.

"I'll be honest," said Buddemeyer. "I didn't have much left in the tank."
