Dynamos Rally Late to Clip Minneapolis
Behind a fine performance from Bill Austin, the Detroit Dynamos knocked off the Minneapolis Millers, 7-6. Austin was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Dynamos. Detroit reliever Jack Vander Kooi picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Ben Baird was saddled with the loss. The loss drops the Millers to 14-12.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Austin hit a splitter from Ben Baird for a run-scoring single. The Dynamos, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
