The New York Gothams picked up a win at Gotham Stadium, taking down the Pittsburgh Miners, 6-2. Starting pitcher Chuck Kleiman was a big reason why. Kleiman, who is tied for 10th in the FA in strikeouts with 51, went the distance for New York. He gave up 2 runs on 9 hits. The Gothams are now 26-30.

The Gothams got a big at-bat from third baseman Frank Arnold. For the game, Arnold went 1-3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 13th double of the season gave New York a 2-0 lead.
