| Keystones Deal Washington 8-2 Defeat | Joe Landry impressed in the 8-2 Philadelphia win over Washington. Landry, who is tied for 7th in the FA with a .513 slugging percentage, was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The loss drops the Eagles to 12-12.
With Philadelphia leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Landry hit a screwball from Jim Stewart for a 2-run double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Keystones ahead, 4-0.
"We were firing on all cylinders," said Keystones manager Charlie Leist.
