Wranglers Get 7-4 Win Versus Toronto | Toronto right fielder Ed Savage was sensational. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Dallas beat the Wolves, 7-4. Dallas is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 11th in 31 games.
Dallas shortstop Hilly Westbrook contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 23rd hit of the season and put the Wranglers ahead, 2-0.
"Nice to tuck this win away," said Westbrook. | |
