The Toronto Wolves downed the Cleveland Foresters, 6-0, at Dominion Stadium. Toronto pitcher Lee Humphrey definitely brought his A-game. With the loss, Cleveland sinks to 1-2.

The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but Bill Cox didn't flinch. With a runner on 3rd and Cleveland trailing 1-0, Cox retired Carlos Jaramillo to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Cox, with a wink.
