Chiefs Need Extra Frames to Get Past Copperheads
A good performance from third baseman Don Barker helped the Chicago Chiefs defeat the Atlanta Copperheads, 10-7. Barker was 4-6 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 4 times for the Chiefs. The loss drops Atlanta to 14-9.

Chicago got a clutch hit from Tom White. The first baseman socked a 3-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was game-ender.
