Stars Earn Clutch Win, 4-3
In a close game at Bigsby Stadium, the Los Angeles Stars edged the San Francisco Sailors, 4-3. Los Angeles first baseman Bobby Garrison stood apart with his performance. He was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks. Los Angeles reliever John Herzog picked up the win to move to 1-4. Eli Kershaw suffered the loss. With the loss, San Francisco sinks to 13-13.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Garrison hit a curveball from Eli Kershaw for a run-scoring single. The Stars, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Garrison said in reaction to the win.
