| Imperials Beaten, 6-2, by Wranglers | Dallas Wranglers starter Jim Schoolfield pitched his team past the New York Imperials, 6-2. With the loss, New York sinks to 13-10.
Dallas used a timely hit from John Vance to get the win. The center fielder delivered a bases-clearing triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Wranglers on top, 6-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Glad to go home with a win," said Vance. | |
