Vaughan Goes Distance in 6-1 Win | Los Angeles Knights starter Sam Vaughan turned in a top-notch performance against the Oakland Grays at Knights Stadium. The result was a win for the Knights, 6-1. The loss drops Oakland to 11-7.
Vaughan, a native of Portsmouth, Virginia, was dealing all game. He kept Oakland hitters off-balance, while giving the Knights 9 quality innings. Vaughan threw 121 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 4.
