Goff Fires Shutout in Grays Victory | Jack Goff had an impressive outing at Thunderbird Park today, hurling the Oakland Grays to a 4-0 shutout victory over the Seattle Thunderbirds.
"He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Seattle skipper Harry McCormick said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders."
On the day, the left-handed Goff yielded 4 hits and tallied 2 strikeouts with 2 walks.
