The Atlanta Copperheads earned a win at Minuteman Stadium, knocking off the Boston Minutemen, 3-1. On the bump for Atlanta was right-hander Harry Inge. He had a starring role in the triumph. Boston, at 5-13, is off to a poor start in 1975.

Jack Blair, who led the FA in stolen bases with 36 last year, had a direct impact on the outcome. Blair contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Atlanta up, 2-0.

"I just tried to stick to my strengths," said Inge.
