Wolves Roll to 10-1 Win Over Cannons
Edwin Viramontes was instrumental in his team's 10-1 triumph over the Cincinnati Cannons. The right fielder was 3-3 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Toronto Wolves. Manny Espinosa was the winner. Over 6.2 innings, he yielded 1 run on 3 hits, with 5 walks and 3 strikeouts. Toronto is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 8th in 20 games.

With Toronto leading 4-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Viramontes hit a cutter from Bob Briggs for a bases-clearing triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Wolves ahead, 7-1.
