| Punchless Millers Fall, 10-0, to Detroit | Detroit Dynamos starter Pat Fortier had all his pitches working at Thompson Field. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 10-0 Detroit win over the Minneapolis Millers. With the loss, Minneapolis is 13-11.
Geoff Taylor hit a 2-run double off Hank Wagner in the bottom of the third, which put the Dynamos in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Taylor had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
