Chicago Gets 6-2 Win Against Clippers
At Patapsco Field, the Baltimore Clippers and Chicago Chiefs were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Chicago Chiefs starter Nate Carr was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Baltimore Clippers, 6-2. The winner was Carr. He threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Joe McDowell.

Chris Wells, the Chicago catcher, contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to make the score 2-0, Chiefs. For the game, Wells went 2-5 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"It feels good to get this one," Wells told the Chicago News.

The loss drops the Clippers to 13-11.
