The St. Louis Pioneers finished off the Minneapolis Millers, 5-2. Much of the credit belonged to left fielder Danny Davis. The game turned with two out in the top of the fourth when Davis hit a 2-run home run. It thrust the Pioneers into the lead, 4-2.
