| Arrows Need Extra Innings to Top Cannons, 9-4 | The Milwaukee Arrows defeated the Cincinnati Cannons, 9-4, in 11 innings at Tice Memorial Stadium II. Jim Stogner produced 1 single and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Ben Ginsberg, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2 innings. The triumph makes Milwaukee 12-7, as the team begins another long trek toward the playoffs in 1975.
The game was all tied up in the top of the 11th, until Stogner delivered big-time for Milwaukee, stroking a dramatic 2-run double off Vern Osborne. The game-changing hit put the Arrows on top, 6-4.
