| Wranglers Win at New York, 6-2 | Dallas pitcher Butch Abrams did his part in helping his team beat the New York Imperials, 6-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Dallas is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 10th in 27 games.
Chuck Armstrong hit a bases-clearing triple off Bob Roberts in the top of the seventh, which put the Wranglers in front, 5-2. Armstrong had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 5.
"It was sure nice to get the win but there's a lot of baseball left," Armstrong after the game.
