| Down Goes Montreal, 7-1, to Washington | The Montreal Saints went down to defeat to Bob Easton and his Washington teammates. The final score was 7-1, in favor of the Eagles. The victory makes Washington 10-21.
Washington center fielder Morgan Ruyle contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the second. With two down, he hit a screwball to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 28th hit of the season and put the Eagles ahead, 1-0.
Said losing manager Jim Jenkins: "The list goes on and on of things we just flat out didn't do."
