| Clark, on Top of His Game, Beats Toronto, 2-0 | Al Clark of the Boston Beacons was masterful, pitching a 7-hit shutout, 2-0, against the Toronto Beavers.
By going the distance, he was at the same time able to give his bullpen a rest, a fact appreciated by Boston manager Abel Prescott.
"It's nice to have someone who can do that from time to time," he said. "He had command of every ball and every pitch. Great location, too."
