Wolves Spill Cannons, 4-2
Toronto Wolves starter Phil Colantuono was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Cincinnati Cannons, 4-2. The Cannons drop to 9-15 and continue their inconsistent start to the 1963 season.

Toronto used a clutch at-bat from Chick Reed to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Wolves ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Toronto manager Randy Hohlt praised his team's "energy."
