| Late Rally by Keystones Seals 4th Straight Win | Philadelphia starter Fritz Walsh kept the Minneapolis offense from doing much damage. The right-hander leaned on his changeup in leading the Keystones to a 3-1 win. The Philadelphia win streak is now 4 games.
Philadelphia used the timely hitting of Dick Christian to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Keystones on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Philadelphia manager Don Fox.
