Keystones Earn Late 5-4 Win
Broad Street Park played host to some dramatic action.

The Philadelphia Keystones knocked off the Montreal Saints, 5-4, in Federal League action at Broad Street Park. Philadelphia pitcher and Mankato, Minnesota, native Lou Rieman had an outstanding performance. Philadelphia reliever Ray Smith picked up the win, upping his record to 4-3. Tom Schwanke took the loss.

Bob Foust was the walk-off hero for Philadelphia. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Keystones third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I thought Lou threw the ball well across the board," said Philadelphia manager Dusty Morris.

The defeat makes Montreal 53-47.
