| Seattle Pockets 4-3 Win Over Dallas | Seattle Kings starter Swede Hawkins pitched a strong game against the Dallas Wranglers at Seattle Municipal Stadium, leading the Kings to victory, 4-3. The winner was Hawkins. He threw 7.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Pete Rosenbaum. Billy Collins closed out the game, earning his 6th save.
With the game tied, 2-2, in the bottom of the sixth, Hawkins had a key at-bat for Seattle. With the bases loaded, Hawkins hit a 2-run single off Pete Rosenbaum, making the score 4-2, Kings.
"Our offense was purring," said Seattle manager Alex Watt. "Like a well-oiled machine."
