Cannons Snatch Late-Game, 2-1 Win
Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Cannons beat the Mechanics.

Baltimore starter Jim Roseman pitched well against the Pittsburgh Mechanics at Timmons Park. The left-hander led his team to a win, 2-1, in 10 innings. The Cannons raised their record to 33-53.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Baltimore shortstop Dave Coulter, facing Leo Hills, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Cannons the 2-1 win.

"My job is to go out and execute," said Roseman.
