Los Angeles Suns (17-29) 0 0 0 0 2 0 3 0 0 5 9 0
Philadelphia Keystones (20-26) 0 1 0 0 3 1 0 2 X 7 12 2
Keystones Score Late, Upend Suns, 7-5
The 7-5 Philadelphia win over Los Angeles was due in large part to Bob G. Murphy. The Keystones first baseman went 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Picking up his 1st save was two-time All-Star Sam Ivey. Philadelphia is now 20-26, while Los Angeles is 17-29.

Had Andy Parker not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Parker hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Keystones.

Murphy told the Philadelphia Chronicle: "Sometimes the big stage is not big enough for me."
