| Gaines Dazzles in 5-0 Los Angeles Win | The Los Angeles Suns locked up a win at Broad Street Park II, knocking off the Philadelphia Keystones, 5-0. On the mound for Los Angeles was left-hander Dixie Gaines. He played a major role in the triumph. The victory puts Los Angeles at 17-27.
Gaines, who was born in Starkville, Mississippi, threw 115 pitches over 8.1 innings, while allowing no runs.
"It's a mindset," said Gaines. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
