Great Stroke: Malone Gets 5 Hits
Montreal left fielder Roy Malone had a day to remember, 5-for-5 against the Cleveland Foresters at Euclid Avenue Park as the Saints picked up a win, 7-4.

"He was patient up there," Montreal skipper Bob DeVilbiss told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Malone has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."

Roy Malone singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

Malone is hitting .350 this season with 5 home runs, 72 RBIs and 86 runs scored. He has 151 hits in 431 at-bats.
