| Beavers Suffer 7-2 Road Loss | The Baltimore Cannons topped the Toronto Beavers, 7-2, with right fielder Arnold Britton playing a big role. Britton went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Cannons in the win. The Cannons now have a record of 31-50 with the win over Toronto.
The Cannons benefited from a costly error in the bottom of the third. With Dave Coulter at bat and Baltimore leading 1-0, the Toronto miscue allowed Baltimore to plate 1 and take the lead, 2-0.
"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Britton told the Baltimore Observer.
