Schneider yielded 1 run over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 4, and struck out 3. His record improves to 2-1. Ralph Pierce closed out the game, earning his 1st save.
Art Gates contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the first. With a runner on 2nd, he reached on an error by the center fielder, driving in 1 run. His at-bat helped San Francisco get the win.
