Wolves Prevail, 4-2, Over Cincinnati
Arnie Smith, who finished 2nd in the CA in ERA with 3.44 in 1960, had a strong outing for the Toronto Wolves against the Cincinnati Cannons at Tice Memorial Stadium II. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. The Cannons drop to 9-13, as their stumbling start to the 1963 season continues.

Ed Savage, who is tied for 9th in the CA in bases on balls with 14, had a direct impact on the outcome. Savage contributed a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put Toronto up, 4-0.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Smith after the game.
