Boston Sends Chicago Packing with 2-1 Loss
Johnny Baylor was terrific for the Boston Minutemen in his team's 2-1 triumph over the Chicago Chiefs. His performance earned Baylor rave reviews. Baylor picked up the win for Boston, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. The save went to Bud Shireman, number 4 for him.

Walter Huckaby drew 1 walk in 3 trips to the plate for Boston. The 30-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Johnny Maples. It was his 4th RBI of the season.

"Watch and learn," said Huckaby. "This is what good pitching looks like."

Chicago is 6-14 after the loss.
