| Chiefs Jolt Saints, 6-1, with Late Rally | A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Chicago Chiefs and Montreal Saints.
The Chicago Chiefs went home winners at Parc Dumfries, thanks in large part to starter Kid Burkholder. Burkholder stifled the Montreal Saints, enabling Chicago to grab the 6-1 win. Mike Pratt recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 16 for 19.
Sam Harris provided a timely hit. The Chicago first baseman delivered a bases-clearing triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Chiefs on top, 4-1. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Harris.
With the victory, the Chiefs upped their record to 44-35.
