| Wolves Top Wranglers to Even Record | The Toronto Wolves wanted a good start from Don Bradner -- and he delivered one. The result was a 5-1 Toronto win over the Dallas Wranglers at Dominion Stadium. Dallas now has a record of 8-10.
Jackie Daniels dealt the Wranglers a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with the bases loaded and Toronto leading 1-0, Daniels, who finished 2nd in the CA in RBI with 104 in 1972, hit a 1-0 changeup for a 2-run single.
"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Toronto manager Carl Evans.
