Atlanta starter Howie Burt ran into little resistance from Minneapolis hitters, as his team cruised to victory, 10-0. Frank Maxwell recorded the save, his 1st. Minneapolis falls to 9-8.

The fans who filled the stands at Peachtree Stadium to watch the Federal Association action seemed to enjoy the game.

"We'll try to build on that win," Burt told the Atlanta News.
