Dominant Performance by Maguire in Washington Win
Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Washington Eagles and Philadelphia Keystones.

The Washington Eagles eked out a 2-1 win versus the Philadelphia Keystones at Columbia Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Don Maguire. He was terrific. The Keystones fall to 6-10 and continue their uninspiring start to the 1975 season.

Maguire gave Washington a blue-ribbon performance. The 6-foot-0 right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 8 innings of work.

"Don did a nice job," said Eagles manager Joe D'Aprile.
