| Kings Pop Stars, 9-1 | Riding the 3-hit performance of the former first round draft pick Bob Glowacki, the Seattle Kings stopped the Los Angeles Stars, 9-1, in 9 innings. Seattle reliever Gus Tropeano picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Floyd Warner took the loss. The Stars fall to 8-11 and continue their uneven start to the 1975 season.
Early in the game, center fielder Tom Hicks had a 2-run home run for Seattle. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Kings on top, 2-0.
"The name on the front of this uniform is all that matters to me," Glowacki told the Seattle Citizen. "And padding the Seattle win column." | |
