| Rosenbaum Silences Los Angeles Bats | In a low-scoring affair between the Dallas Wranglers and the Los Angeles Stars, pitcher Pete Rosenbaum was the difference between victory and defeat. The Dallas right-hander earned kudos in the 2-0 Wranglers win. Dallas goes to 1-1.
Rosenbaum, who dominated for Dallas, earned the victory to move to 1-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 7. Los Angeles batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"It's no secret that good defense follows around people who throw strikes," said Dallas manager Vic Kramer. | |
