Gothams Get Clutch 3-2 Win
The New York Gothams called upon starter Chuck Kleiman, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Philadelphia Keystones, 3-2. New York pitcher Chet Stansbury got the win, upping his record to 2-2. Don McKeown got the loss. The Gothams now have a mark of 56-69.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for New York. That's when 22-year old catcher Tom Brizzolara hit a run-scoring double off Don McKeown to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Brizzolara.
