| Stars Win at Home, 7-5 | The Los Angeles Stars beat the Dallas Wranglers, 7-5, at Bigsby Stadium. The Stars got a fine performance from second baseman Ed Howard, who went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Sy Dunn picked up the win, improving his season record to 6-2. He struck out 8 in 7.2 innings. The save was Hank Myer's, his 7th.
With Los Angeles leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Sy Dunn hit a run-scoring single off Dallas pitcher Rex Conner. It put the Stars ahead 2-0.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Howard.
