Cannons Rally For 7-6 Win
The Cincinnati Cannons overcame a big game from Los Angeles second baseman Charlie Barrell to pick up a win at Tice Memorial Stadium II. The final score was 7-6, Cincinnati, in 11 innings. Barrell went 4-6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Paul Williams snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 3 innings. He's now 3-7 on the season. At 65-57, the Cannons are currently 4th in the Continental Association.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the 11th for Cincinnati. That's when Dallas Berry, who led the CA in on-base percentage with .461 last year, hit a run-scoring double off Ted Ferguson to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

Berry told a Cincinnati Times reporter that he felt "elated" after the win.
