| 5-1 Win for St. Louis Over Los Angeles | St. Louis Pioneers starter Harry Anderson turned in a top-notch performance against the Los Angeles Suns at Wilshire Park. The result was a win for the Pioneers, 5-1. St. Louis is now 39-46, Los Angeles 49-34.
With St. Louis leading 2-1 in the top of the seventh, Anderson hit a 2-run single off Los Angeles hurler Bob Hinzman. It was the 9th hit of the season for Anderson and put his team ahead, 4-1.
