| Cannons Rally to Win | Dominion Stadium was the site for Continental Association action featuring the Toronto Wolves and Cincinnati Cannons.
The Cincinnati Cannons beat the Toronto Wolves, 7-5, at Dominion Stadium. The Cannons got a fine performance from catcher Tom Evans, who went 2-4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Cincinnati is now 38-42, Toronto 39-41.
Cincinnati took the lead on Evans's 3rd double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which came against Ray Smith in the top of the eighth, made the score 7-5, Cincinnati.
"The most important thing is that we won," Evans said.
