Another day, another victory for the red-hot New York Imperials.

With New York leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Thornton hit a run-scoring single off Cleveland hurler Bill Harris. It was the 7th hit of the season for Thornton and put his team ahead, 3-1.

"Swagger," said Thornton. "That's what this team has right now."
