Cougars Suffer 7-5 Road Loss
The Cleveland Foresters had to overcome a big game from Chicago first baseman Gene Case to leave Forester Stadium with a victory. And they did, winning, 7-5. Case was 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Johnny Ogden finished to wrap up his 11th save. The second-place Cougars have dropped 4 straight games.

The Foresters got a big at-bat from catcher Larry McClure. For the game, McClure went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Cleveland a 4-2 lead.

"What we get, we earn," McClure told the Cleveland News.
