The Cleveland Foresters and Cincinnati Cannons provided some drama for the home crowd.

The Cincinnati Cannons beat the Cleveland Foresters, 4-3. Cincinnati pitcher and Detroit, Michigan, native Jimmy Block led the way. Paul Williams, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 8th save.

Bonnie Chapin, who is tied for 9th in the CA in runs scored with 29, came through for Cincinnati with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. The left fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 2 RBI.

"Jimmy did a heck of a job," said Cincinnati manager Buddy Baumgart.

The win puts Cincinnati at 20-20 this season.
