| Imperials Beat Foresters, 5-3 | Behind a solid performance from first baseman Al Reece, the New York Imperials defeated the Cleveland Foresters, 5-3. Reece was 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 singles. He scored 2 times for the Imperials. Ed Cooper closed out the game, earning his 18th save. New York currently is in second place in the Continental Association East at 44-34.
George Love drove in one run against the Foresters. With the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that put New York in front, 4-3.
