The Montreal Saints besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Los Angeles center fielder Lou Allen by beating the Stars, 8-4, at Stade Montreal. Allen belted 2 home runs. At 45-71, Montreal is in 7th place in the Continental Association.

Garland Phelps helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, Saints.
