| White K's 10 En Route to 3-0 Imperials Win | Jim White, who is tied for 2nd in the CA with a 6.5 K/9 rate, never let the Foresters get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Imperials to a win, 3-0. New York now owns a record of 43-34.
White made it look easy. He scattered 5 hits over 7.2 innings, while racking up 10 strikeouts. The right-hander upped his season record to 8-7.
"When Jim is in the zone, it's kind of like -- good luck," said New York manager Jim Abernathy. | |
