Dick Christian, who finished 5th in the FA in home runs with 29 in 1966, starred for Philadelphia. He went 4 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. With the game tied, 3-3, in the bottom of the fifth, Christian had a key at-bat for Philadelphia. With the bases loaded, Christian hit a 2-run single off Bob McKinney, making the score 5-3, Keystones.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Christian told the Philadelphia Chronicle.
