New York Scrapes Out 3-1 Win
The New York Imperials got a stellar performance from pitcher Jimmy Morris, who handcuffed the Cleveland offense en route to a win, 3-1, at Dyckman Stadium. The win gives the Imperials a record of 9-28.

New York took the lead, 2-1, on Dave Oliver's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Cleveland pitcher Rufus Barrell II in the bottom of the eighth.

"We'll build on this win," said Oliver.
