Win Goes to Millers in Tight Contest
The umbrellas came out during the Minneapolis-Chicago contest at Whitney Park.

Minneapolis beat Chicago on the strength of starting pitcher Jack Turner's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-2. Joe Pratt notched his 2nd save in 2 chances.

Minneapolis used the timely hitting of Julio Castaneda to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Millers on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"The guys seem happy with the win. That's good, I guess," said Castaneda.

Minneapolis is now 36-41.
