Wranglers Suffer 4-2 Home Loss | Starting pitcher Steve Miller fulfilled his part of the bargain, helping the Dallas Wranglers stymie the Chicago Cougars, 4-2. Miller picked up the win for Dallas, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. The save went to Gene Amico, number 8 for him.
Miller came through for Dallas with a 2-run single in the top of the fourth. He hit a 1-1 sinker to left-center field, staking his team to a 3-1 lead.
