| Foresters Get Extra-Inning, 4-3 Win | The Cleveland Foresters beat the Seattle Kings, 4-3, in 11 innings. Cleveland pitcher and Reno, Nevada, native Roy Rice led the way. The win gives Cleveland a record of 8-6.
Cleveland used the timely hitting of Herb Reed to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Foresters on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Tough ballgame, tough loss," said Seattle manager Alex Watt.
